Loved the first two chapters of this series and was excited to see the third on Newgrounds. The comparatively low score surprises me as i think this is just as good as the last one.
Graphically its mostly very good. Some of the background are excellent and characters are generally well drawn. A few graphics here and there look a bit rushed, but its generally impressive.
Voice acting is perfect again, good choices for each character. I only noticed a dip in quality when characters shouted. The background music was mild but atmospheric.
I can't say I got very far, after exploring all of the Casino I couldn't find anything else to do. Not sure why I wasn't finding any items, some things such as the wad of money under the couch seemed like they should be retrievable but I couldn't figure out a way to take them.
I also noticed a small bug, I received a notice of Sam Blacks apartment being available some time after visiting it already. I'm not sure if bugs like this could cause a stuck-game situation, but maybe some more testing would have been a good idea.
This series is one of the best Point n Clicks on Newgrounds, the plots are very well thought out and the puzzles requires some though. As with most point n click adventures sometimes its a little unobvious as to what to do next, for future installments how about a journal of some kind to help the player along?
Not quite to Broken Sword quality but a great game and one I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy! 10/10

A pretty simple concept with some original twists that made it fun and addictive to play.
The movement was great, smooth and accurate. I especially liked the physics on the string pulling the man. Instead of bones appearing you need to sniff them out which was a nice idea.
Some nice graphics in there, the Game Over screen was well drawn. The background could have been improved, instead of just grass it could have been a more detailed background with more around the edge.
Things didn't change much between levels, more variation could be brought in as the game progresses. The game could be fleshed out with some kind of upgrade system and checkpoints.
As a quick time wasting game, this works great. Just missed out a daily award I see, maybe next time. 9/10, nice work.

An interesting take on the classic avoider type of game. Although it was graphically simple I liked the look of it, white on pink gave it a nice mellow atmosphere.
The reviewer below me said there was no real point, and I can kind of see where he's coming from. After surviving for as long as I could there was no real incentive to give it another go. A series of stages, or even something as simple as a ranking, would make this more replayable.
I wasn't too keen on the choice of music here, I'd have gone for something more mellow to match the graphics, without being too slow. Could have been a worse choice, but I don't think it was the best.
What I liked about the gameplay was that there was a lot to concentrate on, thinking about where to move for the most stars whilst keeping an eye on the meter and where to create the next bubble. Some may say it was a little too much, but I enjoyed it.
Although I thought it was a good, original game I can't help feeling that there's something missing, so I can't go higher than a 7/10 here. I'll be fiving it though and I'll look out for what you come up with next.

Not many games keep my attention for more than a minute, but I enjoyed this for a while. Although the gameplay itself isn't entirely original, I felt this had quite a unique feel to it.
Graphically it was good, not up there with the best but it didn't need to be. The only tiny thing I would improve is the powerups - the coloured blobs looked a bit amateur. The rest was fine though.
Pretty good choice of music, created atmosphere and a sense of excitement without being too overpowering. SFX were simple but functional.
I've played games with controls like these that frustrate me by sending my character off with a small mouse press, but this one seemed responsive and accurate. I only found them to be not precise enough when a powerup was located at the very top of the screen, which leads on to my main criticism of the game.
Energy bars might be done to death, but the one-hit kill system here got annoying. Getting hit near the end of a level and sent back to the start was what made me stop playing. I think either the plane should respawn where it's hit, or some kind of energy bar should be added.
The levels also got a bit repetitive. Games like RaidenX are so successful because of the constantly changing situation, this game will struggle to keep a players attention when they're dodging the same kind of enemy for long periods of time. There was good variation between the levels which is more than a lot of games, but still room for improvement.
The two powerups gave added interest, but the system wasn't developed enough to really improve the gameplay. For sheilds, when one is equipped it became unnecessary to concentrate on dodging enemies at all, I think a one-hit protection sheild would have been preferable. The laser powerup was also overpowered, a charging time between each shot would require more skillful usage of it. For a really great game, a range of weapons (possibly an upgrade system) would work well here.
Hope I haven't come across as too critical here, I thought it was a very fun game to play and have fived it, could make front page if you're lucky. Lots of potential for a brilliant game and I hope my suggestions are of some use to you if you decide to make a sequel.

Thanks for the review and it was definitely not too critical. It's long critical reviews like this, good or bad..or both, that authors love to receive. I appreciate all your suggestions and critique and should help me improve on any of my future projects.
I agree with most of the stuff you said, and will most likely take those suggestions into consideration if I do decide to make a sequel.

Thought that was brilliant and deserved of a much higher score. Great graphics, loved the use of perspective. Controlled well, I had no problems hitting the tricks. Alright music, not too overpowering. But most of all, it was great fun to play. Good work, 9/10.

Great song and a pretty good attempt at a Flash video for it. Your graphics could be better, and i'm sure they will improve if you keep at it, but they did the job well enough. Enjoyable to watch, very fast moving with no jokes being drawn out for too long. Funny and well made, 8/10.

That was awesome, one of the best rhythm games I've played. Nice graphics, good selection of tunes, and pretty addictive.
One small suggestion, if the player could use numbers 1-3 instead of ASD the keyboard could be held like a guitar.
Great work, 10/10

Finally a #1 movie that deserves the spot. Graphically this was just about good as Flash gets, it'll be a big inspiration for me when I start on my own movies. The animation was incredible, perfect physics, smooth and fast-paced, good sense of depth. Music was an ideal choice. And unlike a lot of great looking movies, this didn't compromize length for graphical quality, because it lasted a satisfyingly long time. Really, really good - nice work.

I like the pseudo-3D look, similar to a game series of mine. The style brought an average shooter to a good game.
The gameplay was a little simple, yet difficult too. It was hard to tell when enemies were hit, more feedback may help.
I couldn't get past the 'shoot the odd shape' section, they all looked the same. Shame, cause I liked the idea, could've been the first IQ/Shooting game.
Nice work, just a few little problems that you could fix up if you made another.

The first part made me laugh, but the unexpected ending was hilarious (and well animated too). Great voice acting as well! Loved it, 10/10.
