That was awesome! It definitely had a very Lost feel to it. The graphics were great, you have a very unique style which is good. The animation is fluid and smooth.
The pacing of the story was good, sometimes it would go slowly and build up the tension, then wham, something cool happens. I hope you make part 2.
One suggestion - don't put yourself down in your comments! Some people might not bother watching and vote low.
Great work ;)

I like the idea here, it was quite fun to play. But the the graphics were very weak, you really need to put more time into them to gte a decent score. The gameplay could do with a bit more variation, and towards the end it became impossible to keep away from the zapper. But overall, not too bad.
Author's Response:
Yeah now that I've seen that people actually like it I'm thinking I might have a go at making a better more improved one, after all this is quite old.

Very good, been a waiting for a decent Worms clone to hit Newgrounds. I played the whole thing through, all 11 missions. Bit easy, I only lost once because of a bug and completed L10 with all 6 characters alive. Loved how you could name the characters, I went for the crew of Serenity, with Jayne kicking the most ass.
The best thing here was probably the arenas. Good variety, the characters interacted with them well, and they looked good. I kind of wish you hadn't used sticks, they just look so tacky, it wouldn't have taken too long to make some better looking characters (maybe even with a customization mode, other than just choosing a hat).
It played mostly smoothly. I hit one bug when an enemy threw a grenade upwards into a platform, it sort of stuck spinning and I had to restart. You could avoid this by adding a timeout to the grenades so they blow if they remain static for too long.
Sound gets a 6 because although I can't really complain about the music (not my taste, but at least there was an off button), the SFX were a bit weak. The bodies didn't make much sound when bouncing around. And you should add speech Hogs of War style, just some funny lines that the characters say after attacking.
In a way this reminds me of Kitty Cannon style games, because the majority of the game was just about throwing grenades well. Shooting and booting just felt like extras. Its probably already been said loads but this majorly needs more weapons. I can think of at least 20 that would work great, and most of those really wouldn't take too long to script. If you do make a sequel, it'd also be cool to add vehicles like tanks.
Another thing that would make this that little bit better would be destuctable scenery. I know how hard it is to make, I wouldn't have a clue where to start, but it is possible as games like Serious Santa prove. If you could find out how to do it it'd make the game so much better.
As it is this is a great game, I had loads of fun playing it. But there still feels like loads of room for improvement. I really hope you make a sequel because with a lot of work it could be the best thing to hit ever Newgrounds.
I think you've just got my record for my longest review ever ^_^. Great work, 5/5.
Author's Response:
Heh, thanks for the response. The grenades should have a timeout now, not sure why they did that :(
I learned how to do destructible scenery about half-way through making the game, so if I do a sequel that will be up there on the list.

Dammit, just beat me to daily 3rd!
But I don't mind, cause this was awesome. Ok it was short, but you crammed a lot more humour and detail in than most long movies do in 5 minutes.
The graphics were easily a 10, they were stylish and clean all the way through. Music was great, voices could be a bit clearer/louder, but otherwise perfect.
I thought it was hilarious, especially the ending! Too bad people outside of England won't get it (I think) cause it slayed me.
One thing though- what's up with the title? In the portal there's a space in between Fa and nboy. Looks kinda noobish, you should fix that if possible.
Well congrats on the daily 3rd, make something a bit longer and you can easily take the daily feature next time. Nice work.

The portal listing just gets screwed up a lil.

I enjoyed this a bit, the questions were challegning unlike most of the quizzes submitted.
I don't like the way it starts over when you get one wrong. I'd prefer a total at the end and a rating.
I only got to 5 before I got bored but if you don't you should have some 'name that song' questions, or picture questions. Those would liven it up a bit.
Pretty good effort, 7/10.

yes, i tried very hard:) 7/10 isn't bad! thankx!

I gotta admit I didn't think it was a huge improvement on the last version, I'm surprised it's scored so much higher.
But the score is deserved, it's still a great video to a great song. You should do more Pink Floyd videos! 10/10.

Graphics were as good as they come. Awesome monkey. Sound was pretty fitting.
I enjoyed playing this a lot, I scored about 35,000 after a few tried. I think it could do with a little more, its a bit too hard to time the jumps. Maybe some left and right movement?
But as it is this is perfect time-wasting NG material. Great work.
Author's Response:
I intended this game as a simple game. Due to requests, there will be a more detailed game some time in the future. I'm glad you liked it :)

I can give you a nice review now I know that your work is genuine :)
I really liked this game, it was great in it's simplicity. The graphics were perfect, I love your style. I think this wouldn't be as fun if you added much more to it like powerups, but there are some possible improvements. Maybe it could get faster over time? Otherwise it's possible to go on for ever which is something to avoid in a game.
The SFX are quite nice, but I think a bit more music would work well here. I know it would add to the file size, but something light could keep this under 500kb. I just think it would help the overall experience.
Other than those small things this is very good, perfect NG material, hope it gets Front Page! Keep submitting stuff ;)
Author's Response:
maybe you didn't notice that, but it gets faster over time, enemies are speeding up every second - its a quite slow progress, you can hardly notice that, but they are speeding up. It's impossible to go on forever.
More music - I'll keep that in my mind when creating new games, however all the stuff I'm posting here was already done months ago, and if I'd start improving them right now I wouldn't have time to create new stuff - such as submachine2, which as I know a lot of people are waiting for impatiently. ;)

A tutorial that I might actually use, that's something rare. This is exactly what all tutorials should be like- clear, detailed and about something original. Great work and thanks.

Metaphysik was one of the first NG games I played. This was a great improvement and should get a lot of awards.
The new features were great, loved how you could smash stuff up. Graphically it was much better.
Sound was good but I knocked 2 off cause I couldnt find how to turn it off. Pause menu? What pause menu?
I knocked 1 of Interactivity because on level 8 I went through the wall and had to restart. Bugs aren't good!
But other than those minor complaints, this is a fanstastic game, very good work and good luck with it.
Author's Response:
Pause menu is accessed with pressing P, but I am glad that you liked it so much! Thanks for the review.
