Rotate!

Add a rotate option dammit!!

It was ok for a dressup. But dressups mostly suck anyways so I can't score you too high here.

Great remake

It takes something really special to make an old game like this stand out. And you just about managed it. The graphics were simple but attractive and a plus point overall. Gameplay was good, powerups added a lot to it. One problem- sometimes points or powerups appeared in walls, bit annoying. Also it didn't get hard enough fast enough, I'd have each level about 1.2 times faster than the last.

You make just the kind of games I like- fun to play but undemanding and easy to relate to. Keep up the great work.

Good remake

A good remake of a fun game. Ran smoothly and recreated the feel of the original spot on.

I guess I only drop the score because its an unoriginal idea. That and the existence of the excellent 3d Frogger (262992).

Nice work.

Excellent!

Really great game! Few improvements:

-Needs more weapon upgrades. 3 just didn't seem to cut it.
-After level 15 the enemy frequencey should be higher but the speed lower.
-The charge blaster confused me. This featur needs work.

Other than that, great job, 4/5

Decent

It was fun to play, but really simple. You could easily get 100% by just blowing out the bottom row. You need more levels with more complex levels. Also I didn't like the canon movement. This kind of game would work great with a kind of faux-3d.

And don't call your work a Masterpiece again. People don't like arrogance.

great clone

I alwas liked this game, more so than tetris. This was a really great clone, ran very smoothly and didn't lack anything. The jackpot feature was a good addition. One thing that my original had was 'magic blocks', I was never sure what they did, but they were cool! I think they destroyed every instance of the colour they were placed on. You should also add harder difficulty levels, some might find this a bit slow at first. I dropped one point because of the lack of originality, but those improvements would make it up. Real good, well done. This is my best score (I'm pretty pleased with it):

speed:8
score:105,500

Looked great, but needed something more

I was put off this game a bit straight away because I couldn't find instructions. If they were there, they need to be more clear.

So after that I didn't really get the main game. I hoped that it'd be like Burnout in that you were supposed to hit the enemies, but that killed me. So I tried again and by dodging them I won far too easily.

The graphics are great. The controls are great. But I think this needs more work, you should make a full game of it with weapons and money and upgrades. Pretty decent as it is though.

Your point about the instructions was valid and helpful. When you spend as much time with some things, you forget why it is you know how they work. That I will definitely need to fix. Thanks for that.

ragdoll was good

This was a fun submission, there was a lot to explore.

Paint thing) Pretty boring. Everyone has paint which is a lot better. It's pointless

Ball thing) Very simple actionscript, also quite boring to play

Ragdoll) This was by far the best. However there still wasn't much to do. My suggestion would be to work on this one and make more of a game out of it (without seeming too much like a rip-off of Interactive Buddy).

So nothing amazing in here, but enough of it to make a good submission. Nice work.

Nice concept, sketchy gameplay

It was a really well presented game with a good concept. The artwork and animation was fantastic, even the sound was pretty good.

But the gameplay wasn't so great. I didn't like the way you couldn't actually move. And just hammering one of the attack buttons won any battle with ease. This needs a lot of work.

But overall it's a good submission, 4/5

Amazing

I saw this on NG yesterday and didn't think twice about not playing it. I dom't like these kind og games, I find them boring. But as it got a daily place, I though I'd give it a go.

At first it was just what I expected- simple graphics, standard sound (annoyingly without an off button), simple concept. But as it went on it became impressive. The level design is fantastic, and the level of precision is unbelievable.

I kept wanting to stop playing but there'd be something to stop me- for example when I finished l13 I hovered over the Close button then saw the lava and had to have a try. The level variation was very good.

Then comes the boss. Loved it, took me a LOT of attempts but I got it. Then there was the escape level which was also excellent but sadly I just couldn't do it, maybe this should have been split up into smaller parts.

In terms of improvements, there are quite a few. A save system would be nice, I'd like to have been able to try Escape again another day. Sound off button. The graphics don't need to be great here but there is room for improvement. On the next game maybe you could bring colour mixing into the gamplay (like becoming orange means you can survive yellow and red blocks). You could also become white/black/brown etc.

Very good, 5/5

You can turn of the sound by pressing S

Thanks for the nice comments, i dont see why people think the escape scene is so hard though
